W.C.R. Media Terms & Conditions

  •  It is agreed that the terms set out are the total agreement made between the parties and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be made effective unless agreed by both parties in writing. A firm and binding agreement exist between W.C.R. Media and Client only after a retainer fee has been paid  
  •  The retainer fee of €250 is non-refundable and must be paid at the time of booking, with remaining balance due and payable on or no later than the wedding day. This initial retainer is made to secure the exact date for W.C.R. Media's services
  • W.C.R. Media requires two weeks' notice prior to the wedding day of any specific needs or changes in events, times, and locations. Failure to do so might result to inability for W.C.R. Media to film some parts of the normal course of events
  • If the wedding is cancelled, the initial retainer is forfeited. If the wedding date is changed within 2 months prior to the wedding date, the initial retainer is forfeited and a new retainer will be required to secure the new date (depending on W.C.R. Media availability)
  •  Average delivery time of your wedding film is 18 weeks depending on our workload. We cannot guarantee exact delivery dates. W.C.R. Media cannot accept responsibility for material lost or damaged in transit.  
  • Special Requests : The client understands and accepts that the video-graphic coverage will be as the videographer professional expertise determines and that special requests are not binding instruction, every effort is made to comply with the client's wishes.
  •  The Client agrees that W.C.R. Media is the exclusive official videographer retained by the Client to cover event.
  • W.C.R. Media is granted full production and editorial control by Client regarding all aspects of the production and post-production services for this event. If something occurred at the event that the Client does not want to appear on the film, the Client must instruct W.C.R. Media in writing or via email within 2 weeks of the wedding date.
  • The Clients acknowledge that they are familiar with W.C.R. Media's portfolio and are requesting services with knowledge of W.C.R. Media's style; that videographers work is constantly evolving; that videographer's services are of an unique and artistic nature; that the video may be different from other videos produced by the videographer in the past; and that in creating the Video, the videographer shall use his/her personal artistic judgement to create a video consistent with his/her own personal vision of the event, which may be different from the client's and the subject's vision of the event. Accordingly the client acknowledges that the video shall not be subject to rejection or changes on the basis of taste or aesthetic criteria
  • Minor editing errors are corrected by W.C.R. Media at no charge (i.e spelling of names/dates, etc) if we are notified within 7 days of you receiving your completed video. After this period, if no notification has been received, the client will be deemed to be satisfied with the product. Any other addition, change of your OWN choice will incur extra editing charges.
  • All final productions will be archived for a period of 3 months, after this period any related footage may no longer be available. All online material are not guaranteed to be live online for more than 3 months
  • The Client must provide a safe environment and is responsible for any damage to equipment done by guests.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the client to secure permission of the church, venue and/or other officials to film the ceremony. The retainer and/or full amount paid to W.C.R. Media is non-refundable if such officials prevent the filming. 
  • W.C.R. Media will abide by the rules of the church, and/ or venue regarding camera placement at the ceremony. Therefore perfect shots cannot be guaranteed if required camera placement positions are not agreed upon by the host of ceremony / priest / vicar.
  • A minimum of 45 minutes setup time is required prior to ceremony start time. When this time is unavailable due to delay at the morning preparation some action might be missed and not recorded for the ceremony (e.g. obtaining shots of the groom and groomsmen, church decorations, church interior , arrival of guests etc)
  • Copyright : Any video or copies of video whether stored digitally or otherwise and any computer program including any source or object code, computer files or printed documentation relating to such video are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988. It is contrary to the act to copy or allow to be copied electronically or by any other means a video created as part of this contract without the permission of W.C.R. Media in writing. The final DVDs / USB keys provided is for private home viewing only and it is not licensed for any other use. All other rights reserved. Client assumes all responsibility for any form of copyright infringement.
  • We at W.C.R. Media need to display our work and productions in order to obtain new customers. Therefore it is understood that W.C.R. Media reserves the right to use footage for display, publication or other purposes. All edited and raw footage remain the exclusive property of W.C.R. Media
  •  The client agrees to provide general notice to all guests and service providers that the event will be filmed. With this notice, and by virtue of their attendance, all guests and service providers acknowledge and give permission for the use of their images, voices and likenesses by W.C.R. Media
  •  The Videographer take the up-most care in the services offered. However, if for any reason, including mechanical failure , human error or even negligence by the videographer / W.C.R. Media and the completed product fails to fulfill the contract agreement the liability is limited to a maximum of the money paid
  • In the unlikely event of a total video graphic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstance the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract / money paid. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
  •   In the unlikely event that a problem arises and W.C.R. Media is unable to provide any film, all monies paid will be refunded. W.C.R. Media is not responsible for loss of video or audio quality due to restrictions at event locations. W.C.R. Media does not guarantee any particular shot, effect or special request.
  • W.C.R. Media is not liable for poor sound or poor lighting  issues caused by but not exclusive to mechanical failure and/or the reception & ceremony venues equipment
  •  W.C.R. Media is not liable for the shooting and recording of any footage being hampered by other parties. This relates to but is not exclusive to the wedding party, wedding guests, general public, sound recording issues, requests by venue / ceremony staff, poor or very low venue lighting issues, photographer stepping in front of shots or any paid parties at the wedding walking in front of the camera and or causing sound recording issues.
  • W.C.R. Media is not liable for any production problems beyond our control e.g. accidents, poor lighting, poor acoustics and bad weather
  •  W.C.R. Media's liability is limited to a refund of money paid. 
  •  W.C.R. Media's full day package (Royal Package) ends directly after the 3rd song / dance by band/DJ.
  • In the event that W.C.R. Media's videographer is unavailable on short notice (e.g. due to ill health) the Client will be notified immediately and all money paid (including retainer) will be refunded to the Client. This is the extent of W.C.R. Media's liability.
  • W.C.R. Media reserves the right to terminate the contract for any reason at any time. Should W.C.R. Media  terminate contract, all monies paid will be refunded including the retainer. Should the Client terminate the contract, the retainer fee is forfeited (non-refundable). Cancelation by the client must be submitted to W.C.R. Media in writing
